RPS founded in the year 1971 and is one of the most renowed schools in the region even today. The spacious and conducive physical environment as well as the latest infrastructure offer opportunities to all to strive for excellence and 'Make the Difference'.
The school provides quality education and emphasizes on character building. It focuses on inculcating values such as "Respect yourself, Respect Others" and "Choose wisely and Face Consequences Squarely" which assist students into becoming better individuals. Besides effective teaching a wide variety of co-curricular activities and enrichment programmes in the school ensure that there is abundant opportunity for all to develop their potential and excel in their areas of talent and interest. The school has believes that parents are important stakeholders in the field of education and works in coherence with them for the better upbringing of the students ensuring that every child is not only able to lead but also able to contribute selflessly to the society. There is nothing that can't be done better or improved after achieving excellence. The constant endeavor of RPS has become pivotal in developing a sense of discipline, moral values, ethics and social responsibility.
In the field of academics RPS has always maintained a top notch position and a glimpse of it is reflected in the board exams every year. In class XII board examination 2014 Abhishek Kadyan (Science) secured 97.2 %. Similarly in the year 2013 Anurag Panchal obtained marks over 95%.
The class X results are among the best in the region as well with the number of students securing 10 points CGPA, the number increasing every year.
RPS has carved a niche for itself in the field of sports and games as well bringing laurels home even at the international level. The school can proudly boast of four students who formed a part of the Indian Throw ball team that won gold medal in Bhutan in the year 2013.
A number of students have won medals at the National Level in various games and sports like Tae-kwondo, Tennis Volley and Skay Martial Art.
We, at RPS, strive for perfection, knowing well that although perfection may not possible to achieve fully, striving for it will steer us towards Excellence...

This challenge has been our constant companion ever since the inception of the school, when we started education program at Rounaq Public School under the aegis of "Raunaq Education Foundation" with the motto "Educate - Innovate - Create". The motto has clobbering us on our head and pursuing the same to spread our wings at the international level the school got affiliated itself to Cambridge International Schools, as another steps towards providing education to the children to spread their their wings and explore this colourful world so that life becomes purposeful to them. We have always believed that striving for perfection is neurotic, striving for excellence is progress and that there is nothing that can't be done better or improved after achieving excellence.
Creating a small world for each child within this real world is a challenge which our educators accept very humbly and happily. The entire 'RPS' family works as a team and endeavors to provide the most conductive, vibrant learning atmosphere to our students. Though our well researched, thoroughly planned, integrated curriculum, we introduce and open many avenues to our students in all spheres of life. Apart from academics, co-curricular activities form an integral part of the school curriculum and are organised in form of hobby classes, different clubs and so on where the hidden talent of each child is unleashed and nurtured, making the entire process of learning complete and interesting.
